AVERETT SOCCER TEAMS TO HOLD FREE YOUTH CLINIC
The Averett University men's and women's soccer teams will host a free soccer clinic
for boys and girls ages 5-12 on Sunday, Oct 12.
The clinic will be held from 1-3 p.m. at Averett's North Campus on the soccer practice
field, which is located beside the football/soccer field.
There is no cost for the clinic, but donations are welcome.

Dear Coaches and Administrators,

Valley AFC will be hosting the USSF "D" License November 14, 15, 16, 21, 22 and 23 with Instructor Paul Shaw, the VYSA Director of Coaching Education. This is a 36 hour course over two weekends. Please encourage all your coaches to attend. It is really great to have this available in Roanoke, and to make it successful we must have at least 16 coaches attending. The course is geared toward coaches coaching ages twelve and up, and is beneficial for both recreational and travel coaches.

Below I have included the course content, and I have attached a course registration form. Please mail the registration form with a check ($115 for VYSA members, $165 for non-VYSA members) and a copy of your "E" license, or an approved waiver to Valley AFC, C/O Karen Varela, P.O. Box 20045, Roanoke, VA 24018. You will also be asked to complete a "D Course Coaching/Playing Experience" form and bring it to the first evening of the course.
