1. Only coach's child is automatically placed on team; assistant coaches can
be selected from the team once it is picked. 2. Siblings will be on the
same team unless requested by parent to be separated. 3. Coaches will draw
numbers out of a hat to determine selection order. 4. Coaches have 30 seconds
to call out their selection for each round, or else they forfeit that round's
pick. 5. Coaches select from the 1 pool first, then the 2 pool and then
the 3 pool. 6. The coach's child will take the place of that coach's pick
for the appropriate pool. 7. In the event that a coach receives a fewer
number of 1 players than another coach, that coach would get an extra 2 player.
The same principle applies when selecting the 2 players. 8. At the end of
the "ones" selections who made it to tryouts, coaches would select the
players who did not attend tryouts. If a player does not make it to tryouts, his
name is placed on a note card and turned face down on a table. This name is considered
as a 1 player. Coaches would take their draft round by selecting a name and showing
it to the age group commissioner. |
