Why should my player try out for a Blast team?
• The coach is guaranteed to have received some special training in working with youth soccer players in that age group.
• The competition is better as they play against the best kids in that age group from different cities.

When and where are tryouts?
• Most often they occur in May for the next fall season.

How much does it cost?
• The player fee is most often $200 - $300.

Why is it so expensive?
Fees cover
• League administration fees
• Referee fees
• Secondary insurance
• Uniforms (2 jerseys, practice shirt, shorts and socks)
• Coach's stipend
• Coaching license program that reimburses coaches for advanced coaching licenses

Where do the teams play their games?
• Some of our teams participate in the Blue Ridge Classic League in Virginia. These teams play home games at Dan Daniels park, and away games in Roanoke, Lynchburg, Martinsville, Blacksburg, and sometimes Waynesboro, Harrisonburg, Pulaski and Charlottesville.

Do the teams spend all weekend out of town?Not usually. There may be once during the season that the team attends a tournament out of town.Most weekends have one game, either home or away. If there is a two-game weekend, there is one home game and one away game.

What if I can't drive to every game?
There are plenty of times that parents carpool and take other kids and parents.

Can my player play if I don't live in Danville?
