Why should my player try out for a Blast team?
• The coach is guaranteed to have received some special training in working with youth soccer players in that age group.
• The competition is better as they play against the best kids in that age group from different cities.

When and where are tryouts?
• Most often they occur in May for the next fall season.
• 2005 tryout schedules will be posted in March or April of 2005.

How much does it cost?
• For fall 2004 the player fee is $200

Why is it so expensive?
Fees cover
• League administration fees
• Referee fees
• Secondary insurance
• Uniforms (2 jerseys, practice shirt, shorts and socks)
• Coach's stipend
• Coaching license program that reimburses coaches for advanced coaching licenses

Where do the teams play their games?
• Some of our teams participate in the Blue Ridge Classic League in Virginia. These teams play home games at Dan Daniels park, and away games in Roanoke, Lynchburg, Martinsville, Blacksburg, and sometimes Waynesboro, Harrisonburg, Pulaski and Charlottesville.
• Some of our teams participate in the Triad Challenge League in North Carolina. Home games are played at Rockingham Community College (30 minutes away) and away games at Greensboro, Winston-Salem, Burlington, and Kernersville.

Can my player participate if we don't live in Danville?
• Yes
